-Chapter 2 Part B discussion questions due.
-We finished our discussion of Chapter 2. We discussed the reasons why Americans actually have more than twice the amount of leisure than we think we have, the factors that may cause a decline in free time in the future, the factors that may cause an increase in free time in the future, and the leisure related problems.

HOMEWORK:
-Answer the following Chapter 3 Part A Discussion Questions:
1) What are the benefits of studying leisure history?
2) What are some factors that have influenced the development of the recreation movement in the 20th century? How did these factors influence the recreation movement?

-We began a discussion of Chapter 2. We discussed the reasons for the leisure explosion during much of the 20th century, the decline of leisure in the later part of the 1900's, and why Americans actually have more leisure time than they think they have.
