Today: We had our usual Monday discussion regarding our Civic Engagement project. All 5 groups shared their scenes, and we shared constructive recommendations as a group. It appears we are at a point now where the next step will be to start filming. Stay tuned for updates this week.

Homework:
-Essay #2: The Allegory of the Cave is due on Wednesday.
-Read and be ready to discuss Unit 2 from the Common Reader.
-3 Cup of Tea Question #3 will be due on Friday.

Today: We began an introduction to The World Is Flat by taking a look at an interview with the author, Thomas Friedman. Click here for the full interview.

Homework:
We will take a look at the question, "What does Friedman mean by 'the world is flat?'" Please be ready with 2 discussion points regarding this. You should be able to share 2 reasons for Friedman's title choice and also be able to articulate, in your own words, these reasons.
