Today: We discussed Three Cups of Tea Questions 4 & 6. Our discussion focused on:
-What does 3CT tell us about the status of women in this region of the world?
-Why does Mortenson feel the education of girls is so important?
How will it improve their status?
-Is the same dynamic true in out culture?
-How was Mortenson's awareness of the world of Islam critical to the success of his programs?
-What have you learned about Islam by reading 3CT?

Homework: We will have a breakfast class in the cafeteria on Monday and discuss the Civic Engagement project.
