Today: We started class by discussing the revised semester schedule for weeks 11-15. If you were absent, please see me for a copy. We discussed Chapter 13 in the textbook. Our discussion focused on 4 areas:

-The different stages of leisure in childhood
-Leisure gender inequality
-Concerns regarding current & future status of leisure in childhood
-The 2 functions that adolescent leisure activities serve & the questions that leisure can help middle-aged adults answer

Homework: Quiz, Into The Wild Chapters 15 & 16, and if you did not turn in the Obitury Assignment please bring it on Thursday.

Today: Group #3 presented on Chapters 30, 31,32, 33. Nice job.

Homework: We've saved the "best" for last. Group 4 will finish the group presentations on Thursday with a discussion on Chapters 14, 16, 17, & 19.
