WEDNESDAY 10/10

Today: We devoted class to discussing our civic engagement movie project. We recapped what we did last Monday, and we broke into 3 groups to begin storyboarding the remaining 3 main issues we will tackle in the video. We decided that from this point forward we will have a goal/objective approach to this project. Each week we will set a goal(s) to accomplish for the week, as well as an objective(s) to accomplish during our Monday discussion sessions.

Homework: Your goal for the rest of this week is to, in your groups, come up with 2 scenes for the main issue your group was assigned (Social, Living, Getting Involved). We will discuss as a group next Monday. Also, do not forget to be documenting all of your time that you devote to this project in your journal. Don't forget there is no class on Friday.

Today: We did a group survival exercise to bridge the gap between discussing Drucker & The Corporation. We learned that Matt would make a good lawyer, Woody would not be a good actor, & Alexandra would not be able to live without her husband.

Homework: We will discuss 1 chapter per class period in The Corporation. Next week will discuss Chapter 1(Mon), Chapter 2(Wed), & Chapter 3(Fri). Don't forget there is no class on Friday.
