-We discussed Chapter 3. Our discussion focused on the 4 rules to brainstorming and an accompanying brainstorming session about ways to get the student body more involved at sports events. We then discussed what a Needs Assessment Survey is, why it is used, and what the 8 categories of needs assessment information are . You discussed components of a Needs Assessment for the Bubble. Finally, we discussed the 5 step process for creating surveys.

-We opened class with group work. You did a team building activity and then discussed the following question: in terms of personality traits, abilities, & emotions, how can athletic experience pave the way to career success?
-We then discussed Chapter 5. Our discussion focused on: self-esteem, self-efficacy, self-monitoring, personality, the big 5 personality dimensions, locus of control (internal & external), ability vs skill, & emotions.
