TODAY:
-We began class by discussing the SBJ article about concert tours at MLB stadiums this season. Our discussion focussed on: the revenue earned by the teams, per cap, & restoration fee.
-We finished our discussion of Chapter 2. We focussed on: the advantges to recruting a candidate from within & outside the organization, in-service training, new staff orientation, evaluating & motivating employees, the procedures for employee termination, & the procedure for reporting sexual harassment.

HOMEWORK:
-Notecard due (based on Chapter 3 discussion questions).
-Chapter 3 discussion questions due.

1) Will leisure time grow or decline in the future? Why?
2) According to the textbook, what factors will contribute to the growth or decline of leisure in the future?
3) What factors contributed to the leisure explosion from the 19th to 20th Century?
4) Explain how "spectatorship," "boredom," & "nonliving" are leisure-related problems.
