TODAY:
-Chapter 3 discussion questions 7-12 were due.
-We began a discussion of Chapter 3.  Our discussion focused on the marketing environment & mission statements.

HOMEWORK:
-Erik Kelly will bring in a current event for us to discuss.
-Answer the following Chapter 4 Discussion Questions:
1) What is the difference between a generic market & a product-market?
2) What are the product-market "names?"
3) What is the 2-step process of market segmentation?
4) Define "market segment."

TODAY:
-No new discussion questions due.
-We finished our discussion of Unit 1: The Sociology of Sport.

HOMEWORK:
-Robert McGloughlin will bring in a current event for us to discuss next Wednesday.
-Blog Post #2 is due on Friday.
-I forgot to hand out notecards for you to answer the Friday breakfast discussion questions.  You can either write it on notebook paper or type it & print it.  The discussion topic is: Name 2 movies (1 from 2000-present & 1 from before 2000) that you could watch over & over again for the rest of your life.  Why?
