-Chapter 8 discussion questions 1-10 were due.
-We began a discussion of Chapter 8.  Our discussion focused on the elements of a contract.

HOMEWORK:
-Keri Marnane will bring in a current event for us to discuss.
-Answer the following Chapter 8 Discussion Questions:
11) What is an indemnification agreement?
12) What does a noncompetition covenant or promise state?
13) What is a contractual agreement that gives someone permission to engage in a specifically defined activity or to use a certain property owned by someone else?
14) What is a means to protect ownership or proprietary rights to property?
15) What company is assigned the rights to sell the NCAA souvenir merchandise at 88 NCAA championships?
-I was originally going to assign an SBJ article, but I decided to hold off so we can concentrate on hopefully finishing our Chapter 8 discussion on Friday.

-We continued our discussion of The Corporation Chapter 1.  Our discussion focused on the concepts of new capitalism, sustainable development, & branding.

HOMEWORK:
-Natasha Ray will bring in 2 current events for us to discuss.
