WEDNESDAY 02/20

TODAY:
-Chapter 3 discussion questions 8-20 were due.
-You filled out a Plus/Delta Chart as an evaluation of the first 1/4 of the semester.
-We discussed the NY/NJ Super Bowl SBJ article that was due last Friday.
-We began a discussion of Chapter 3. Our discussion focused on how athletic & recreation facilities are significant aspects for student recruitment & retention on college/university campuses. We also discussed how sports/recreation & entertainment venues are usually the center piece of downtown revitalization efforts by towns & cities.

HOMEWORK:
-Ronnie Emanuelson will bring in a current event for us to discuss.
-I will assign Chapter 4 discussion questions on Friday that will be due next Monday.
-Click this link to last week's SBJ and read the article "Rockies Upgrading Coors Field" on page 9 & answer the following discussion questions for Friday:
1) How many skyboxes are the Rockies consolidating into 4 super suites?
2) What are the Rockies turning most of the press box into?
3) All together, the upgrade projects total how much money?
